A site for Circo Kachevaches, a professional circus show for birthdays and children's parties based in Cartago, which also brings stilt walkers and gala characters to companies, schools, and festivals. Three shows presented with photos, a quote builder shaped like a circus ticket that writes the WhatsApp message as it's filled in, and a gallery of real performances, all with poster art direction: a marquee of light bulbs, a big top, and showbill type.
A ticket-shaped quote builder that writes the WhatsApp
The heart of the site is a 'quote ticket': date, time, venue, type of celebration, show, ages, number of children, and name. As it's filled in, the site drafts the message and shows it as a WhatsApp bubble before anything is sent, and each show card opens the ticket with that show already picked. The performer receives the whole party and answers with a price, not with five questions.
A real circus, built only from its own material
Not one stock or AI photo: professional shots of his performances, frames picked one by one from his reels, rejecting blurry ones with a sharpness measure, and his show at the TEC Arts Center on video. The logo was vectorized from a reel's end card and the palette was sampled from his own material: the red of the logo, the black of his end cards, and the cream of his poster.
Showtime art direction: marquee, big top, and showbill
The hero frames the character in a marquee of light bulbs, a big-top valance separates the night of the show from the showbill sections, and the quote builder is a ticket over circus-tent stripes, set in Ultra, a poster typeface. The gallery was composed by hand, row by row. Mobile Lighthouse of 99, the main content loads in 1.8 seconds on a real phone, and contrast meets AA even with text over photos.
