Kumo Moi
San José, Costa Rica
An ordering site for Kumo Moi, an artisan Japanese pastry maker in San José. It works as a storefront and menu at once: every dessert is shown with a photo, servings, flavors, and price, and closes on WhatsApp with a different pre-filled message per product. An orders section walks through the process step by step — lead time and deposit included — so customers write in already knowing how it works.
Storefront menu with prices and servings
Five desserts — roll cake, Basque cheesecake, Japanese cheesecake, naked cake, and castella flan — each with a large photo, serving count, and visible price. The roll cake has a flavor selector and the Basque cheesecake lists its four variants with pricing, so customers compare and decide without asking.
The order explained before they write
A WhatsApp conversation recreated on the page shows exactly how an order works, alongside the terms: two days' notice, a 50% deposit on large orders, and separate delivery and pickup blocks. Customers reach the chat with no doubts, and the business stops repeating itself.
Brand story and an events close
The name section — kumo means cloud in Japanese — turns the brand's origin into a selling point and carries the artisan tone through the whole site. At the end, an events block offers dessert tables and decorated cakes with its own WhatsApp quote request, opening a second, larger order type.
