Villas Eucaliptos
Turrialba, Cartago
A bilingual site for Villas Eucaliptos, two mountain lodging villas in La Pastora de Turrialba, between the Turrialba and Irazú volcanoes, which operated only on booking platforms and wanted to be found on their own as well. The site presents the two villas as opposites, each with its own WhatsApp button, opens a 63-photo flora and fauna album with filters and videos with real birdsong, and follows the identity of the owners' brand book. Everything exists in Spanish and English, for the guest searching from abroad.
Choose your villa: two cards, two characters
The two villas are presented as opposites on purpose: the two-level loft carries its hard data in the headline typeface (guests, bedrooms, beds, and baths) and its amenities exactly as its listing publishes them, while the glass retreat speaks through the owners' words, a quote, and an ambient video. Each villa has its own WhatsApp button, so the owner knows which villa a guest is asking about before replying.
Flora and fauna: a 63-photo album with filters
A video triptych, with a toucan, a toucanet, and a thrush whose real song plays at a tap, opens a masonry album filtered by birds, other animals, and landscapes, showing each species' name and walking the whole filtered set in a full-screen viewer. It loads deferred, after the hero photo, so the site's richest section doesn't slow down the first screen. Every photo and video is the client's: not one generated image.
Bilingual for the guest from abroad, with their brand book
Every word, including the photos' alt text, exists in Spanish and English: the site opens in English for browsers in other languages and remembers the visitor's choice, because the owners' goal was to be found from abroad. Palette, logo, and type follow their brand book, the History section turns one of its pages into the web, and the hero rotates the villa and four of the owners' landscapes, with a pause button.
